What we repair

Small leak or storm damage, we fix it.

Shingle, metal and cedar shake roofs on homes across Milledgeville and Baldwin County. A lot of larger companies quietly do not want repair work because the ticket is small. We do it.

Roof leaks

Water stains on a ceiling, drips in the attic, a wet spot that shows up every hard rain. We find where the water is actually getting in, which is often not right above the stain.

Missing or lifted shingles

Wind lifts and tears shingles, and a bare spot lets water straight into the decking. We match and replace them and seal down the ones around them.

Flashing, chimneys and skylights

Most leaks start where the roof meets something: a chimney, a skylight, a wall or a vent. Failed flashing gets replaced, not just smeared with sealant.

Valleys and popped nails

Valleys carry the most water on the roof, and popped nails punch holes in the shingle above them. Both are small fixes that stop big leaks.

Rotten decking

When water has been getting in for a while, the wood under the shingles goes soft. We cut out the bad decking and replace it before we close the roof back up.

Metal roof repair

Standing seam, R-panel and the trim and flashing around them. On exposed-fastener metal, screws can back out over the years; we replace them and re-seal the panel.

Storm and tree damage

Wind, hail and fallen limbs. We document the damage with photos for your insurance, tarp it if it is open, and rebuild what broke, framing and siding included.

Not every leak is the roof. Half the "roof leaks" we get called out to are water going somewhere it should not, so we check the gutters and downspouts too. Thinking about replacing instead? See our metal roofing options.

Repair first

We will tell you when you do not need a new roof.

  • Not every roof that gets quoted for replacement needs one. Plenty of our calls end in a repair to the flashing or a valley, for a fraction of the price.
  • We photograph what we find and show you, so you see the problem yourself.
  • A firm number in writing before any work starts. The inspection is free either way.
  • Licensed and insured, and happy to show you the paperwork.
  • Local since 1994. If something is wrong two years from now, you call the same number and the same people answer.

Roof repair questions

Straight answers.

How do I know if I need a new roof or just a repair?

You usually cannot tell from the ground. Missing shingles, granules in the gutters, a stain on a ceiling and daylight in the attic all point at different things, and some of them are a morning's work rather than a new roof. We get up there, photograph what we find and show you. If a repair will do it, we will say so, even though a replacement pays us more.

Do you do small roof repairs?

Yes. A lot of larger companies quietly do not want repair work because the ticket is small. We do it, and we would rather fix a valley for you now than sell you a roof you did not need.

How fast can you get to a roof repair?

Repairs are usually same week rather than a three week wait. If the roof is leaking now, call or text (478) 832-2272. We tarp it to stop the water first, then make the real repair.

Will my insurance cover a roof repair?

If the damage came from wind, hail or a fallen tree, often yes. Age and ordinary wear, usually not. Claims have deadlines, so we walk the roof, document what we find with photographs, and tell you honestly whether you have a claim.

Where do you do roof repairs?

Milledgeville and Baldwin County, Lake Sinclair, Lake Oconee, Eatonton and Putnam County, Gray and Jones County, Sandersville, Sparta, Haddock, Gordon and Toomsboro. Not sure you're in range? Call and ask.
