Residential Concerns crew setting standing seam metal roof panels

Metal roofing · Milledgeville & the Lake Country

Metal roofing is what we do best.

Standing seam and R-panel metal roofs on homes across Middle Georgia, installed by a Milledgeville company founded in 1994. You deal with owner Mark Hobby from the first look to the last screw.

Two metal systems

Standing seam or R-panel. We install both, and we'll tell you which fits.

The right metal roof depends on the house, the budget and how long you plan to stay. We walk the roof, take the measurements ourselves, and give you a firm number in writing before anything is ordered.

Standing seam

Concealed-fastener panels, the premium residential metal system, with no exposed screws to back out over time. Clean vertical lines that suit a lake house or a custom build.

R-panel

Exposed-fastener metal roofing, the practical choice when you want a metal roof without the standing seam cost. Installed on homes, additions, porches and outbuildings, with the flashing and closures done right.

Metal on the porch and shingle on the main roof? We do that too, and we flash the two together so they don't leak where they meet.

Metal roofing questions

Straight answers.

What's the difference between standing seam and R-panel?

Standing seam hides its fasteners under the seams, so there are no exposed screws to back out over the years. It's the premium system. R-panel is screwed through the face of the panel, costs less, and is a practical metal roof for homes, porches, additions and outbuildings.

Do you do metal on porches, additions and outbuildings?

Yes. R-panel in particular goes on porches, additions and outbuildings as well as homes, and we'll flash a metal porch roof into a shingle main roof.
